This is an update that I have been putting off doing, but I know it has to be done. This decision has been stewing in my mind for a long time, every time I open up my computer or even look at my iPad. 

The Springs is officially on indefinite hiatus.

I won't say closed, but there is very little likelihood of me posting here again in any decent time frame. I just feel like I've moved on and sadly lost motivation to continue with this project, despite all the things I had half-planned. In all honesty, I rarely open dA these days. 
This does not mean that everything here will be gone. I will be leaving everything as-is, so that you still have access to all the awesome characters that you've developed.

And a giant thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for coming along on this wild ride with me. Some of you jumped on right at the beginning, and others joined the insanity at later dates. But whichever you may have been, your support has meant the world to me, and I will never forget everything that was here.

(how is it November? time, please, slow down a bit... T^T)

Small update for you guys that's a positive move in the right direction - I got a new iPad! And I splurged and got the Pencil as well, because, well, stylus and such. And I've been playing with it yay! Hopefully I can figure out how to import psds to my app so that I can get going again. 

I just want to throw somethings out there for consideration; changes that I've been thinking about. 
Breeding is obviously the biggest thing that goes about at the Springs, but the current system overloaded me and just killed any motivation. So I want to update to something that's more manageable for me, but still fulfills all of your insatiable desires to breed things. Cx I'm looking for ideas, suggestions, etc. I was thinking of moving away from seasons altogether and moving towards dedicated slots with cooldowns, etc. I'm not certain of details or how to implement something like this. 
Another thing that really slowed down the offspring process was the prevalence of unique markings. I don't want to take away all the fun by saying that unique markings won't breed down, but I would like to make them a bit rarer. Along with this would be items (awardable or purchaseable? not sure how to release these) that would increase your chances of  unique markings in a pair. 

Okay. Ideas. Opinions. Suggestions. Go?

Hey guys. This is kind of a bummer post because it feels a little like a defeat, but after September's breeding season (which opens this coming Saturday, sorry about that) I'm going to have to hit pause on breeding seasons until I can find enough motivation to finish everything that I still need to do. For whatever reason, I've completely lost any motivation to do any art in the past few months and sadly that includes Springs stuff - I don't want to try and force myself through my to-do list because lacklustre things will happen, which would be bad seeing as one of my to-do items is the yuols that were hard fought for this year. 
I hope you can all understand, and I hope to get through this soon. 

If you have questions/concerns, please post them here because I might have missed some things.

Oh hey guys... I am alive haha. Things have been very quiet here because my real life has been realllllly noisy - I'm moving!
More specifically, I'm moving out. So I've been dealing with packing, and doing actual adult things and not being able to focus on art stuff. :c

On the business side:
- I haven't started the May offspring and I feel really bad about that. 
- July's season will start on July 8, to give a bit of consideration to what I have for July 1
- I have something for July 1. Cx

Also, if your dancer was successful in defeating one of the masters (or more), please send me a note with the title "SYTYCD Prize Claim" with what you intend to do with the costume that you have won - whether you'd like to apply it to an existing cyrii (please tell me the colour you would like the costume to be), whether you'd like to order a standard CO with the costume, or whether you'd like to shelf the costume for later (a note will be added to your inventory).

Housekeeping:
- the Momet species (momets and moemis) and the Wyvern species (wyverns and wyvis) have switched places on the breeding schedule to accommodate the addition of the chyr hybrid. This means that May's breeding season with be Fleres, Rifkims, and Momets, while September's season will be Cyrii, Wyverns and Unlisted. 
- March's breeding season is now closed.
